greetings people, heres a new screen capture of my film. I'm rendering the film now at HD resolution around 1240X720 per frame O__O... Pretty big indeed, anyways counting down the time- we have a month an a half for my release for the trailer, and for the final animation it will be be release first week of march. I've talked about releasing the film with my thesis production advisor, he told me that its best to release the teaser, and release the full version later -__-... Until my school post it in their website, i have to delay the post for the full version...sign.... I will be opening some dl spots to some ppl, and I will be posting it to CGtalk.com. the teaser will definitely be done by mid feb, right now the final animations are being done, am already testing some dynamic particle fx and I'm also comosing the score for the soundtrack. The matte paintings are almost done, a friend of mine will be finalizing the mattes and will be stitching them to make a few 360 panoramas. This piece am posting is one of the uncompressed frame of the film, this has been reduce 50% from the HD screenshot. Im also finalizing the new ending sequence since a ppl offerd their help to soup up this film. estimated running time now is at 6-7 minutes O_O, that will be the department thesis cut, I'll prolly add more cuts to max the running time at 10mins. This will the most ambitious single student computer cg project ever created in the east coast O____O...and its almost done wooohooo.... so far the look and feel of the film never sufferd from my stress and time pressures or delayed schedules.
Three words for the look and feel of the film{my main inspirations}: REMBRANDT + FINAL FANTASY CG + NARUTO ^_^
We're almost there folks, Kindredd Saga will be finally release soon, the premier will be at the lincoln center end of spring and will be posted in the SVA computer arts dept around summer time. til then watch out for the full 1 min teaser of the film. PEACE hope you guys like this.

WOW! I am doing a CG film too! I am working on it with one other person. Please come see my characters I made if you can. I would like to see you characters up close too. This is a really nice shot! It's alot better than most student work. My partner on the film is [link] and he is doing the environments. I am making the characters, and I am the writer. I am using 3ds Max 6 and 7 to make mine. What software are you using? This is really cool! can't wait for your trailer!!
